Extra Emirates A380 service for Moscow

Emirates will take an A380 double daily to Moscow from August 1.

The second A380 flight replaces the existing B777 operation, increasing seat capacity by 15%.

Thierry Antinori, Emirates‘ executive vice president and chief commercial officer said the Dubai–Moscow route had performed consistently well since launching in 2003.

“Operating Moscow-Dubai now as a full A380 route reflects the strength of our commitment to this strategic market and opens up a wealth of choice for passengers travelling from Domodedovo to visit or re-visit Dubai, where Russian visitors are always very welcome,” said Antinori.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport’s director Igor Borisov added: “This new milestone promotes Domodedovo airport to the ‘premiere league’ of the world’s airports, one of just a few offering Emirates’ service entirely using A380 aircraft.”
