Passengers travelling to London on the TG910 A380 inaugural flight from Bangkok, were delighted to be greeted at the arrival gate by a group of Beefeaters and Guardsmen. Many "selfies" were taken and passengers commented on it being a wonderful introduction to the UK.
Those leaving on the inaugural flight/TG911, July 1 to Bangkok were giv...en fresh orchid corsages and commemorative key rings to mark this special occasion at check-in. This, together with a performance of traditional Thai dance and music, created a wonderful party atmosphere.
Khun Wit Kitchathorn, General Manager of Thai Airways - UK said "This has been a great way to mark the UK’s first direct A380 flights to Bangkok, auguring a new era of travel in the UK. As always we are immensely proud of our service and doubly so now that we are the only airline offering A380, state-of-the-art, direct travel between London and Bangkok.”
TG911 will depart London Heathrow Terminal 2 at 12.30pm daily, arriving at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport at 05.45am. TG910 will depart Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport at 01.10am daily and arrive at London Heathrow (T2) at 07.15am.
