Juneyao Airlines Takes Delivery of Its 3rd Aircraft in All Red Livery

Juneyao Airlines (HO) took delivery of an Airbus A321 aircraft on July 24, which is the 45th aircraft in service. The new aircraft, Registration B-8068, is also the airline's third Airbus aircraft painted in an all red livery, following an A321 and an A320.

The aircraft is painted with the color of wine red and adorned with a fluttering golden ribbon in the middle. The tail and engines are engraved with golden phoenix - the logo of the company.

The airline's A321 features a two-class configuration with 12 leather first class seats and 178 economy class seats. This new aircraft will be deployed on popular domestic services linking its hub Shanghai Pudong with Dalian, Shenyang and Xiamen, to provide more capacity for the summer travel peak.

So far Juneyao Airlines owns 36 A320s and 9 A321s. According to the airline's strategic plan, the Shanghai-based carrier is scheduled to add three A321s and two A320s by the end of 2015, when the fleet size is expected to reach 50 aircraft.
