Jetstar Asia (3K) today unveiled an Airbus A320 aircraft sporting a special "bird" livery to mark the 50th anniversary of Singapore (a celebration known as SG50).
"Look it's a bird, no it's a plane, it's a bird on a plane! Here's introducing Jetstar's brand new livery in celebration of Singapore 50th birthday!" the lowcost carrier said at its official account.
The new livery is inspired by the black naped oriole bird, one of the most common species of birds in Singapore.
Symbolizing strength and determination, the livery is made extra special with 50 everyday heroes who have made a difference in the lives of others.
The A320 will perform its first flight 3K513, departing Singapore at 7:15 p.m. on July 30 and heading toward Bangkok.
Jetstar Asia is the third Singaporebased carrier featuring a special SG50 livery, following Singapore Airlines and Scoot
