AirBlue has phased-out its fleet of four A319-100s leaving it with five A320-200s and two A340-300s.
Airblue, the fastest growing airline, will be adding two Airbus A320-200 aircraft in late 2013 and early 2014. Both aircraft are brand new and will include factory-fitted Sharklets. This advanced end-of-wing Sharklet system has been developed by Airbus, designed to enhance the eco-efficiency and payload-range performance of the A320 Family. Importantly, Sharklets can also save over 730t less Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions annually per aircraft. Airblue is the first Pakistani airline to use this technology.
