Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Atatürk) has taken delivery of its first of two A330-300s on 8-year lease contracts from Afriqiyah Airways (8U, Tripoli Int'l). Research shows F-WWTS (cn 1499), now TC-JOM on the Turkish registry, was recently ferried from Teruel, Spain to Istanbul Atatürk where it is undergoing routine maintenance.
Its sister ship, F-WWCK (cn 1535), will join it later on this year and will be re-registered as TC-JON.
