Air China (CA) took delivery of a brand new Boeing 747-8 International on Friday, which is the sixth of seven 747-8I the flag carrier has ordered.
The 747-8I, Registration B-2482, MSN 44933, officially joined the fleet of Air China following a delivery flight from Everett to Tianjin. Flight CA79 took off from PAE at 1:05 p.m. and arrived at Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) at 2:48 p.m., according to Flightradar24.
Meanwhile, Air China's last of seven 747-8I (Registration B-2480) conducted its first flight on May 21, scheduled for its delivery later this year, according to a Twitter post by Paine Airport.
The Beijing-based carrier took delivery of its first 747-8I in late September, becoming the first carrier in Asia that operates the passenger version of the new, fuel-efficient 747-8.
Air China's 747-8I features 365 seats in a four-class cabin configuration, including 12 seats in first class, 54 in business class, 66 in premium economy class and 233 in economy class
