Thomson Airways has announced it will add up to four B787-9s to its widebody fleet of four B767-300s and nine B787-8s.
The leisure carrier said in a communique issued last week that it has converted two existing B787-8s (slated for delivery in summer 2016) orders with Boeing to larger B787-9s. It has also ordered a third B787-9 with an option to purchase a fourth.
The B787-9s will be configured with 345 seats including 63 Premium Club seats.
