NEW AIRLINE - Stratolaunch welcomes its Jumbojet

On 5 December 2023, Stratolaunch welcomed its recently acquired Jumbojet. Boeing B747-400 N744VG (32745) arrived at the company's base at Mojave (CA) after a short hop from San Bernardino (CA).

Stratolaunch announced the planned acquisition of the former Virgin Orbit B747 back in May 2023 and expects the aircraft to be fully operational in the first half of next year.

The company plans to utilize the aircraft to serve as a delivery vehicle for its Talon-A hypersonic testbed.
