The 737-800-operated sector joins the Russian LCC’s existing overseas sectors to Milan/Bergamo and Bratislava, which both launched in December. The 2,054-kilometre route will face no direct competition on the airport pair, although Germanwings/Eurowings intends to launch services from the German airport to Moscow Domodedovo in June, having served Vnukovo in the past.
