Contour Airlines (LF, Tupelo) is planning to begin scheduled passenger flights out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, the airfield's first such air service in forty-four years.
Local media reports indicate Contour will use Jetstream 41s to serve Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson beginning August 1. The route will operate twice daily on weekdays and daily on weekends. Weekly seasonal flights to Destin-Fort Walton Beach are also planned.
According to the ch-aviation airport database, Quest Diagnostics (LBQ, Lawrenceville) already serves the Kentuckian town albeit with regular cargo flights to Cincinnati Lunken.
