China Eastern Airlines plans to expand its international presence in Europe this June with four new routes between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Amsterdam, Madrid, Prague and St Petersburg.
The new flights to St Petersburg will begin on June 21, followed by Shanghai Pudong-Prague on June 23. Both services will be operated thrice-weekly.
The carrier will then launch the Shanghai Pudong-Amsterdam service on June 26, and Shanghai Pudong-Madrid flights on June 28. The airline will operate four-times weekly on the two routes.
China Eastern will deploy Boeing 767s on the Shanghai Pudong-St Petersburg route, and Airbus A330-200s on routes from Shanghai to Amsterdam, Madrid and Prague.
