Japan's J-Air adds maiden EMB-190

J-Air (XM, Nagoya Komaki) has officially unveiled its first, and Japan's first, EMB-190 at a ceremony held at Osaka Itami on Monday, May 10. JA241J (cn 19000708) has since been deployed into revenue service for the JAL - Japan Airlines (JL, Tokyo Haneda) subsidiary servicing Kagoshima and before long, Fukuoka and Sendai.

J-Air has a total of ten EMB-190s on order from Embraer (São José dos Campos) of which a second and third are due in August and October with the remaining seven to arrive during 2017 and 2018. The airline also operates seventeen EMB-170s and nine CRJ-200s on regular passenger flights across

JA241J (cn 19000708) The newest jet of the fleet of J-Air, a member of JAL Group, is reflected on the water mirror of the ramp when commencing to taxi to RWY34 as "Japan Air 2402" to Osaka Itami. The airline launched E190 service today (on May 10th) and this is the second flight. Nice to fly and spot her on the first day!
