Asiana Airlines on 8 August introduced a weekly service on the 4,511-kilometre sector between Seoul Incheon and Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan

The airline’s A330-300s will be used to operate the route. The city pair is already served weekly (on Tuesdays) by Air Astana, with whom Asiana has a codeshare agreement on this route. Asiana already serves the former Kazakhstan capital of Almaty with twice-weekly flights.
