WestJet's First 767-300ER Wide-Body Touches Down at Its First Canadian Airport: YYC

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Aug 27, 2015) -  Calgary International Airport (YYC) was pleased to welcome the first Canadian landing of WestJet Airlines' first Boeing 767-300ER wide-body aircraft. After its first stopover at YYC, the aircraft, which showcases the airline's new logo, will be integrated into the company's North American and transcontinental flight network.

YYC has been WestJet's home base since the airline's inception in 1996. Now one of Canada's largest airlines, WestJet and its regional airline, WestJet Encore, operate an average of 114 flights per day out of YYC.
