Russia's GTLK to place SSJ100s with Scat, Red Wings, Yamal

Russia's State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) has signed a firm order agreement with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Moscow Zhukovsky) for thirty-two SSJ 100-95s with options for an additional twenty-eight of the type.

Announced during the ongoing MAKS 2015 Air Show at Moscow Zhukovsky, the first of the jets will be delivered in May 2016.

Of the order, fifteen will head to Kazakhstan's Scat (DV, Shimkent) as part of a larger Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which includes five options, while twenty-five will go to Yamal Airlines (YC, Salekhard). Both carriers are expected to finalize their 12-year lease agreements with the Russians in August next year.

Red Wings (Russia) (WZ, Moscow Vnukovo) also signed a Letter of Intent to lease fifteen Superjets subject to finalization..
