Emirates Starts Daily A380 Flight to Madrid

Emirates has made Madrid its 35th A380 destination as it celebrates five years of flying to Spain
The Dubai carrier started its daily A380 flight yesterday, adding 2,900 seats per week to the route.
"In the last five years we have progressively built up our services to Spain, responding to strong demand by bringing our flagship A380 to not one but now two Spanish cities, Barcelona
and Madrid," said Fernando Suarez de Gongora, country manager Spain.
"Emirates has carried more than 2.3 million passengers between Dubai and Spain since our launch and the introduction of this A380 will add much needed seat capacity on the route."
Emirates has added eight new A380 destinations during the past 12 months, including three in Europe;
Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and an A380 service between Milan and New York.
Copenhagen will also join the airline's A380 network in December.
Meanwhile, Emirates today commenced its sixth destination in Pakistan with flights to Multan taking place four times a week.
