By Lena Ge, China Aviation Daily

Chinese start-up carrier Longjiang Airlines (LJ Air) unveiled its logo and livery on Tuesday, with an Airbus A321-200 aircraft painted in the color of the airline, revealed by Sina Weibo user "FATIII".

The start-up carrier welcomed its first A321 aircraft at Harbin Taiping International Airport on April 21.

The A321 aircraft, equipped with 212 seats, departed from Airbus' Hamburg assembly line on April 18 and arrived in Harbin, the main base of LJ Air, ahead of its official launch in late June.

Initially, LJ Air plans to operate four domestic routes initially, including Harbin-Xi'an-Chengdu, Harbin-Yiwu-Nanning, Harbin-Guangzhou-Shenzhen and Harbin-Beijing.

The Harbin-based carrier is going to establish regional route network covering the whole Heilongjiang Province, and fly to nearly twenty cities including Beijing and Shanghai, as well as start international services to the Russian Far East, connecting to Russia, Korea and Japan.
