Boeing delivered the 300th 787 Dreamliner in Everett on July 27, marking another 787 milestone less than four years after the type entered service.
To date, nearly 55 million passengers have flown on 787s across the globe. That's 294,000 revenue departures, 1.5 million revenue flight hours and 659 million revenue miles flown, according Randy's Journal, a Boeing blog authored by Randy Tinseth, Vice President, Marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Boeing's 300th 787 delivery comes amidst a drive to increase the delivery rate in the third quarter. Randy didn't name which airline took delivery of the 300th 787 but it is either ANA, United Airlines, Etihad or Air Canada.
A little less than 4 years after Boeing handed over the very first 787 Dreamliner to launch customer All Nippon Airways, the jetmaker has reached 300 deliveries coming from two different production facilities running at 10 per month for two different models of the 787.
As of July 31, Boeing has delivered 304 787s, 76 in 2015 and 12 in the month of July.
