Afghanistan's Kam-Air ends Airbus operations

Kam-Air (RQ, Kabul) has ended Airbus Industrie (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) operations with the recent sale of its sole A320-200, YA-KMA (cn 480), to Iran Aseman Airlines (EP, Tehran Mehrabad). Research shows the twinjet has now become EP-APG on the Iranian registry.

 The move contradicts a Kam-Air announcement issued in November last year stating that it wanted to transition to an all-Airbus operation by retiring its Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) and McDonnell Douglas (Long Beach) machinery.
