Bombardier Announces Smart Parts Agreements covering 31 Q400 Aircraft


Smart Parts agreements signed by SpiceJet for 15 Q400 aircraft; LOT Polish Airlines for 10; and Falcon Aviation Services for six


Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced today that SpiceJet of India, Poland’s LOT Polish Airlines and Abu Dhabi-based Falcon Aviation Services have signed agreements to enroll in Bombardier’s Smart Parts after-market support program to provide value-added dispatch availability and cost predictability for their growing fleets of Q400 aircraft. The agreements are each for 5-year terms.

“We’re delighted that these operators are benefitting from the economic predictability and dispatch reliability that our Smart Parts program provides,” said Todd Young, Vice President, Customer Services, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. "These agreements reflect our program’s flexibility which can easily be adapted to our customers’ complex business models and demonstrate our commitment to providing value-added aftermarket support that's designed to meet their operational requirements."

Enrolling in Bombardier’s Smart Parts program allows customers to focus on their business of flying and optimize on their business plans while minimizing the lifecycle cost of the aircraft and ensuring superior dispatch reliability.
