Iraqi start-up FlyBaghdad set for maiden aircraft

Fly Baghdad (Baghdad) is set to take delivery of its maiden aircraft, a CRJ-200 formerly in service with Spain's Air Nostrum (YW, Valencia Manises) as EC-JCO (cn 7984). Now re-registered as YI-BAH in anticipation of its ferry flight to Baghdad, the twinjet recently underwent repainting into the start-up's livery at Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen.

As previously reported by ch-aviation, FlyBaghdad intends to add two A320-200s (and possibly B737-800s) to its fleet ahead of the launch of operations in July of this year.
