Hainan Airlines to Launch Beijing-Prague Flight by End Sep.

Hainan Airlines (HU), China's fourth largest carrier, will begin regular nonstop flights between Beijing and Prague, Czech, before the end of September this year, said Zhou Laizhen, Deputy Chief of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) on June 25.

HNA Group and Czech aviation group Český Aeroholding signed a strategic cooperation agreement on June 15, on the occasion of a visit by Chinese Deputy Vice Premier Liu Yandong to Prague. The agreement will set up a direct air connection between Prague and Beijing.

The Beijing-Prague is the third airline route between China and Central and Eastern Europe after Beijing-Warsaw and Beijing-Minsk-Budapest.
