Setouchi Seaplanes (SSN) is planning to commence operations later this month using four amphibious Quest Kodiak 100s. The carrier will offer sight-seeing flights over the Seto Inland Sea initially before branching int the passenger charter market with flights between Hiroshima Prefecture and Osaka Kansai.
It is to be recalled that the Idaho-based Quest Aircraft was acquired by Setouchi Holdings early last year. Setouchi, which has been an authorized Kodiak dealer, is part of the Tsuneishi Group, a Japanese conglomerate involved primarily in shipbuilding.
