Swiss European Air Lines has begun to phase out its fleet of twenty ARJ-100s with the first - HB-IXR (cn 3281) - having been ferried to Kemble in the United Kingdom for storage earlier this month.
Though the type will eventually be replaced by a fleet of thirty CS100s, the first four will be replaced by four EMB-190s wet-leased from Helvetic Airways.
