REBRANDS - Air Incheon Rebrands Asiana Airlines’ Cargo Division as Air Zeta

The first aircraft with the AIRZETA livery has been unveiled. The aircraft in question is the Boeing B747-48EF HL7419 (25781).

AIRZETA is the new name of Air Incheon after acquiring the cargo division of Asiana Airlines. Its fleet currently consists of four B737-800SF, ten B747-400F and one B767-300F.

Fleet Modernization -Air Incheon eyes B777-300ERSF

CargoFacts is reporting that Air Incheon is in talks with lessors to secure the lease of B777-300ERSFs. According to the news-article, the exact number hasn't been finalized but that it would be more than one. A first delivery is planned to take place in the second half of next year.

Air Incheon launched operations in 2013 and is currently a narrowbody-freighter airline, operating a fleet of four B737-800SFs. Between April 2018 and August 2019, the company did operate a widebody-freighter in the form of a single B767-300ERBDSF.

The airline is based at Seoul-Incheon and flies from there to destinations in China, Japan, and Mongolia.

South Korea's Air Incheon orders another B737-400 P2F

Air Incheon (KJ, Seoul Incheon) has signed an agreement with PEMCO World Air Services for one additional B737-400 P2F conversion.

The Miami-based P2F conversion specialist said in a statement the contract covers msn 25857 which was formerly in service with British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) as G-DOCX. Redelivery of the finished B737-400(F) is scheduled for the third quarter of the current year.

For its part, Air Incheon operates two B737-400(F)s of which one, HL8291 (msn 25190), is an existing PEMCO conversion. It is also expected to take delivery of three B737-800(F)s on lease from Spectre Air Capital later this year.

Air Incheon specializes in moving perishables, machinery, and dangerous goods focusing on local routes to Japan, China, Mongolia, and the Russia Far East market.

Air Incheon to lease three B737-800(F)s from Spectre

Air Incheon (KJ, Seoul Incheon) has signed long-term lease agreements with Spectre Air Capital for three B737-800 freighters due for delivery early next year.

The aircraft are sourced from the Texas-based lessor's order with Israel Aerospace Industries for fifteen firm B737-700/800 Passenger-To-Freighter conversions. Additional rolling options are included in the order.

For its part, the South Korean cargo specialist operates a pair of B737-400(F)s on domestic as well as regional Asian flights.

Air Incheon eyes maiden widebody freighter

Air Incheon (KJ, Seoul Incheon) is planning to acquire a B767-300(ER) for conversion into a B767-300(F) CargoFacts has reported. According to the publication, the carrier was granted exemption by Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT) from recently enacted regulation forbidding Korean air carriers from operating aircraft over

 twenty years old.

 Once delivered in early 2016, the aircraft will become the first widebody freighter in the South Korea operator's fleet, which currently consists of two B737-400(F)s and one soon-to-be-inducted B737-300(QC).

Air Incheon to add a maiden B737-300 freighter

First aircraft delivered to South Korean cargo start-up Air Incheon

Air Incheon  has taken delivery of its first aircraft, B737-400(F) HL8271.

It will operate the aircraft on its own air operator certificate from March 1 onwards and not wet-lease the aircraft from Jeju Air as previously reported. Air Incheon plans to operate scheduled cargo services from its homebase at Incheon to Tokyo Haneda, Qingdao Liuting International, Ulaanbaatar Chinggis Khaan  and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
