Corendon Dutch Airlines in Northern summer 2024 season is leasing Airbus A320 aircraft from Canada Jetlines, mainly operating on following routes throughout the season from 19APR24.

NEW AIRCRAFT - Corendon leases an A350-900

 Corendon has announced it will start operating its own flights between Amsterdam and Curaçao. As its fleet of B737s can't make that trip, the company will be wet-leasing an Airbus A350-900 from World2Fly. The lease is for two years and the aircraft will receive a Corendon-outfit. Flights are scheduled to commence in November 2023.

In an interview with our friends of Luchtvaartnieuws.nl, the CEO of the airline said that if these flights are succesful, it might consider ordering a widebody aircraft itself, like the Boeing 787.

Corendon Dutch Airlines is currently operating three B737-800s, which are planned to be replaced by three B737-9s in the coming year. The company is part of the Corendon Group, which also owns Corendon Airlines from Turkey, operating fourteen B737-800s, and six B737-8s, and Corendon Airlines Europe from Malta, which operates fourteen B737-800s.

Corendon to place a Boeing 747-400 in its hotel garden, ex-KLM PH-BFB gets a new home

Travel agency, airline company and hotelier Corendon will have a complete Boeing 747-400 transported from Schiphol airport to the Corendon Village Hotel in Amsterdam this February. There the plane will be placed in the hotel garden.
For this mega job Dutch specialized transport company Mammoet has been brought in. Mammoet will transport the 150 ton plane in five days from the airport to the hotel, starting Tuesday evening February 5. During its spectacular last journey, the Boeing has to cross 17 ditches, highway A9 and one provincial road.
The Boeing 747-400 is the former KLM aircraft ‘City of Bangkok‘ (PH-BFB) that will be given a new final destination after 30 years of reliable service.
In recent weeks it has been painted in the colors of Corendon in Rome. Also it is has been stripped of all serviceable parts, such as the engines, by aircraft recycling company AELS. After the transport the plane will be placed in the garden of the Corendon Village Hotel Amsterdam.
The aircraft will be converted into the Corendon Boeing 747 Experience, which will open its doors at Q3 of 2019. The hotel opened last year in the former headquarters of Sony. With over 680 rooms, suites and apartments it is the largest hotel in the Benelux. Guests have a clear view of Schiphol Airport.
What happens when?

Tuesday 5 February 22.00 hours – Wednesday 6 February 07.00 hours: kick off:

On Tuesday, February 5th, at 11 pm the aircraft will roll on a self-propelled trailer of transport giant Mammoet, crossing Schiphol Airport. It will leave the airport site via the Zwanenburgbaan and will be transported over the meadows towards the Sloterweg. Here the Boeing 747 will stay for two days.

Friday 8 February 00.00 hours – Saturday 9 February 05.00 hours: Crossing the A9

The most spectacular part of the transport is the crossing of highway A9. This will happen during the night of Friday 8th on Saturday February 9th. After that the aircraft will follow its route towards the Corendon Village Hotel.

Saturday 9 February 00.00 hours – Sunday 10 February 04.00 hours: The final meters

The aircraft will cross the Schipholweg during the night of Saturday 9th to Sunday February 10thand will make 57 traffic movements before it takes its place in the garden of the Corendon Village Hotel.

Corendon Dutch Airlines to add first B737 MAX 9 in 2Q19

Corendon Airlines (XC, Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen) has announced it will take delivery of its first B737-9 in May 2019. In a statement, the Turkish leisure specialist said the jet would, in fact, be placed with its Corendon Dutch Airlines (CD, Amsterdam Schiphol) unit for use during the Summer 2019 season.

In August this year, Corendon said it would add three more B737-8s to its current fleet of one in May and June 2019 with the third and final one due in May 2020.



Corendon Dutch Airlines currently operates three B737-800s on scheduled charter flights from Amsterdam Schiphol to each of Banjul, Fuerteventura, Hurghada, Las Palmas, and Tenerife Sur as well as between Maastricht and Banjul. One aircraft will also be deployed to Curacao on a winter-long wet-lease contract with Divi Divi Air (DVR, Curacao). The jet will be used to connect Curacao with Aruba St. Maarten, Brasilia, and São Paulo Guarulhos.
