FLEET / SPECIAL COLOURS - Avolon Delivers 50Th Aircraft In Jetsmart’s Fleet

Dublin | 8 December 2025: Avolon, a leading global aviation finance company, has delivered the 50th aircraft in South America’s low-cost carrier JetSMART’s fleet. The A321neo is the final delivery of four A320neo family aircraft from Avolon to JetSMART.

The four aircraft on lease from Avolon will support the replacement and growth needs of JetSMART’s current narrowbody fleet. JetSMART flies to over 50 destinations from its hubs in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. Passenger demand in the Latin America and Caribbean region was up 7.2% year to date in October, according to IATA.

The A320neo delivers 20% lower fuel burn and CO2 emissions compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft, and 50% noise reduction. Avolon had 347 A320neo family aircraft on order as of 30 September 2025.

DUBAI AIR SHOW - ORDER - Avolon leases A320neos to Centrum Air

During day three of the 2025 Dubai Air Show, lessor Avolon announced it has signed a lease-agreement with Centrum Air from Uzbekistan for new Airbus A320neos. In total, the airline is leasing five of them, with deliveries planned for 2027.

Centrum Air, which launched in 2023, is a private carrier and is currently operating a fleet of five A320s, two A320neos, three A321neos, and three A330-300s.

ORDER - Avolon orders 15 A330neo and 75 A321neo Airbus aircraft

Toulouse, France, 24 July 2025 - Avolon, a leading global aviation finance company, has placed an order for 90 Airbus aircraft, comprising 15 A330neo and 75 A321neo. This incremental order brings Avolon’s total to 79 A330neos and 264 A321neos.

Powered by the latest generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, the A330-900 has a range of 7,200nm / 13,300 km non-stop and reduces fuel burn, CO2 emissions and operating cost by 25% compared to the previous generation aircraft. The A330neo features the award-winning Airspace cabin, which offers passengers a unique experience, high level of comfort, ambience, and design. This includes more individual space, enlarged overhead bins, a new lighting system and access to the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.

The A321neo is the largest member of Airbus’ best-selling A320neo Family, offering unparalleled range and performance. By incorporating new generation engines and Sharklets, the A321neo brings a 50% noise reduction and more than 20% fuel savings and CO₂ reduction compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft, while maximising passenger comfort in the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky.

As with all in-production aircraft, the A330neo and A321neo are able to operate with up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), with a target to increase to up to 100% SAF capability by 2030.

FLEET - Boeing, Avolon Agree on New Order for 40 737 MAX Jets

- Leading global aviation finance company plans incremental order to increase 737 MAX backlog to more than 110 unfilled orders
- Global lessors placed nearly 130 orders and commitments for Boeing airplanes in 2023, with over 90% for the 737-8

SEATTLE /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Avolon announced the Ireland-based lessor intends to purchase 40 more 737-8 airplanes to expand the lessor's 737 MAX portfolio – consisting of 737-8 and 737-10 variants – to more than 110 jets. Avolon also ordered 40 737-8s in June.
The new order is subject to shareholder approval by Bohai Leasing Co, Ltd, Avolon's main shareholder, and will be posted to Boeing's Orders and Deliveries website when finalized.

The 737 MAX provides Avolon's customers with greater flexibility across their network, while reducing fuel use and emissions by up to 20%. On average each airplane will save up to 8 million pounds of CO2 annually compared to airplanes it replaces.

The 737-8, seating 162 to 210 passengers depending on configuration and with a range of up to 3,500 nautical miles, is the market's most versatile single-aisle airplane, capable of operating profitably on short- and medium-haul routes.

FLEET - Avolon orders a further 100 A321neo aircraft

Avolon, the international leasing company, has signed a firm order for 100 A321neo aircraft, taking its total order for the A321neo to 190 aircraft. The agreement secures Avolon's delivery pipeline for the world’s preferred single aisle Family.

With this latest agreement, Avolon’s total firm order-tally directly from Airbus rises to 632 aircraft, and includes A320, A330 and A350 Families. In September, Avolon ordered 20 A330neo aircraft to take advantage of growing global widebody demand.
