Fly Romania to start Lisbon to Guinea-Bissau flights in May

Fly Romania will operate a new Lisbon to Bissau service on-board an MD-83 operated by parent, Ten Airways.

The Romanian carrier won a Bissau-Guinean government tender for the flights earlier this year with a 3x weekly service set to operate from May 15 until October 2014.

Ten Airways is also considering launching flights from Guinea-Bissau to South America though has not yet set a timeframe for the move. ch-aviation

Fly Romania eyes June launch date using Ten Airways MD-80s

Fly Romania is a new Romanian start-up with plans to serve Antalya, Frankfurt Hahn, Genoa, Reus, Timisoara, Tulcea and Verona beginning June this year.

It also plans to offer services linking Timisoara with Verona and Tulcea with Milan Orio al Serio. The virtual carrier plans to use MD-82s and/or MD-83s operated by Romanian ACMI and charter operator Ten Airways on its servisse
