Airbus ACJ319 highlights cabin-benefits at Jet Expo

Greater comfort, capacity and capability are on show

Airbus is exhibiting an ACJ319, offered for VVIP charter by MJet, at Jet Expo in Moscow, highlighting the benefits of a more spacious cabin to visitors.

The MJet Airbus ACJ319 includes lounge areas plus a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and is certificated for 19 passengers, allowing it to transport company executives, extended families and government delegations in comfort and style.

Airbus will also use the show to promote the advantages of two new aircraft launched earlier this year, the ACJ319neo and ACJ320neo. The ACJ319neo will fly eight passengers up to 6,750 nm/12,500 km or more than 15 hours, while the ACJ320neo will transport 25 passengers up to 6,000 nm/11, 100 km or more than 13 hours.



“Airbus corporate jets deliver many benefits that traditional bizjets often lack, such as modern fly-by-wire controls, larger diameter more-efficient engines, and the ability to land automatically in mist and fog ,” says Airbus COO Customers, John Leahy. “Add the widest and tallest cabins of any business jet, while being similar in size externally, and you can see why Airbus corporate jets are such great lifestyle-enablers,” he adds.

Airbus has always had a culture of innovation, which keeps its aircraft family the most modern in the world. Fuel-saving Sharklets and engines, standard on the ACJ320neo Family, are the latest examples, with Airbus being unique in deriving the full benefit of these.

Airbus ACJ319 highlights trend to larger cabins at NBAA

All of the business jet variants launched in recent years feature larger cabins than their predecessors, highlighting the market’s wish for more cabin. Airbus will be highlighting its leadership of this trend by displaying an Airbus ACJ319, with the widest and tallest cabin of any business jet, at the NBAA show .

The Airbus ACJ319 on display is operated by Tyrolean Jet Services and is offered for VVIP charter. It features lounge areas at the front, a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and shower in the middle, and business-class seating in the rear, and is certificated for 19 passengers.

“More space in the cabin is desirable for many reasons other than the greater comfort and freedom of movement that it brings,” explains Airbus Chief Operating Officer, Customers, John Leahy. “The larger cabin volume and floor-area of Airbus corporate jets means you can take more people with you when you travel, be more productive along the way, and carry more baggage,” he adds.

The desire for a large cabin is one of the findings of Airbus’ ACJ Billionaire Study, announced earlier this year, which highlighted the wish of high net-worth individuals to take with them when they travel, those that look after them at work and at home.

Airbus’ ACJ318, ACJ319, ACJ320 and ACJ321 fit into the same sort of ramp space as traditional business jets, but their cabins are almost twice as large, offering a very different travel experience, in which people can socialise more easily by moving around the cabin.

Airbus corporate jets deliver more than traditional business jets, such as extra baggage-space, pilot-pleasing Category 3B autoland, and mechanic-friendly engine and systems access.

Airbus is displaying an ACJ319 at EBACE

Airbus is again exhibiting an ACJ319 at the EBACE show in Geneva, giving visitors the opportunity to see how the widest and tallest corporate jet cabin fits into the same ramp space as traditional business jets.

The Airbus ACJ319 is the newest in the Comlux fleet, is being exhibited for the first time, and features a cabin by Comlux America. It is certificated to carry 19 passengers, and features lounge areas, club seating and two private rooms that convert to bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom.

More than 15 Airbus corporate jets are offered for VVIP charter worldwide by almost 15 companies, highlighting their popular appeal.

“Exhibiting an Airbus corporate jet alongside traditional offerings from other manufacturers allows potential customers to see and touch what we have to offer, which is quite simply the best cabin in the sky,” comments Airbus COO, Customers, John Leahy. “Airbus corporate jet cabins offer more where it counts, in comfort, space and freedom of movement,” he adds.

With extra fuel-tanks for intercontinental range, the Airbus ACJ319 can fly nonstop from Europe to much of Africa, the Americas and Asia, and one-stop to most of the world.
