Libyan airline Medsky Airways has deployed a second Embraer regional jet wet-leased from Greek ACMI specialist Marathon Airlines, expanding capacity on its key Tripoli-Istanbul service.

MedSky Airways (Libya) to launch operations soon with two A320s, serials 4349 and 4357, on lease from ALAFCO (Kuwait). The carrier will fly under the CTA of Malta MedAir. The CEO is Abubaker Elfortia.

 

The state airline Malta MedAir landed a flight order from Libya. The carrier will fly the Airbus A320, registration 9H-MSA, on behalf of startup Medsky Airways.

The newcomer wants to start later this year. The first aircraft was painted in Medsky Airways livery in Shannon, Ireland. The 9H-MSA is to be deployed on numerous routes from Libya. This aircraft will be operational under a charter agreement with Malta MedAir.
