Sea Air delays launch until June

Sea Air (Osijek) has delayed its launch date from the previously announced May 18, to June 1. No explanation has been given for the postponement.

Sea Air plans to offer scheduled flights from its Osijek base to Munich, Frankfurt Int'l, and Vienna using a combination of chartered MD-82 and B737-500 metal. Previous plans to source the aircraft from Romania's Ten Airways (X5, Bucharest Baneasa) are currently on hold according to the Romanian operator.

SEAir to be rebranded as Tiger Airways Philippines

South East Asian Airlines is expected to be rebranded as Tiger Airways Philippines with the next couple of months. Tiger Airways owns 40% of the Filipino low-cost carrier currently operating two A319-100s and A320-200s on domestic routes from Manila Ninoy Aquino International and international routes from Clark.

SEAir to add three A320-200s in July and August for new routes

SoutSEh East Asian Airlines will add three A320-200s to its fleet in July and August that will be used to expand its low-cost operations in cooperation with Tiger Airways. It will use the aircraft on new domestic routes from Clark Diosdado Macapagal International to Kalibo and Manila Ninoy Aquino International to Bacolod, Davao Francisco Bangoy International and Kalibo and on international services from Clark Diosdado Macapagal International to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International, Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok International, Kota Kinabalu International and Singapore Changi International. The first A320 flight is currently scheduled from Clark to Singapore Changi on July 31
