Bhutan Airlines, formerly known as Tashi Air and with the ICAO code of B3, has begun service to Delhi from its base in Paro, the only international airport in Bhutan.

Bhutan Airlines acquires an A319 to replace leased A320

Bhutan Airlines has acquired an A319-100, A5-BAB (cn 1541), from Irish lessor, SMBC Aviation Capital.
The  aircraft will replace the carrier's current equipment, an A320-200, LY-SPB (cn 2987), on wet-lease from Small Planet Airlines.
At present, Bhutan Airlines serves Kolkata and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi from its Paro hub.

Bhutan Airways to Start Kolkata / Bangkok Service from October 2013

Bhutan’s private carrier Bhutan Airways (also known as Tashi Air) starting October 2013 begins International operation. The airline plans to offer Daily Paro – Kolkata – Bangkok service, on board its new Airbus A320 aircraft, starting 10OCT13.

In addition, the airline has received IATA code “B3″, previously used by Nigeria’s Bellview Airlines. Planned schedule as follow.
