Senegal Airlines leasing a French A330 for Hajj operations

Senegal Airlines has wet-leased an A330-200 from XL Airways France  for Hajj charter operations. Skyliner Aviation indicates F-GSEU (cn 635) was recently positioned from Paris CDG to Dakar ahead of flights to Saudi Arabia.

The aircraft currently operates on a daily basis between Dakar and Madinah.

Senegal Airlines acquires A320 leased from South Africa's GAO

Senegal Airlines (DN, Dakar) has now dry-leased the sole A320-200 it had been previously been wet-leasing from South African ACMI specialists, Global Aviation Operations (QG, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo), ch-aviation can exclusively reveal.
Global has informed ch-aviation that ZS-GAS (cn 76), originally delivered to Braniff International Airlines (1991) in November 1989, has now been transferred to the Senegalese registry as 6V-AJA where it is used on flights to Abidjan, Bamako, Cotonou, Douala, Libreville, Niamey, and Ouagadougou.

The acquisition is in line with Dakar's plans to revitalize the debt-stricken carrier through the consolidation of its assets. Senegal Airlines also has a Dash 8-400, wet-leased from Falcon Aviation Services (FVS, Abu Dhabi Bateen).

Senegal Airlines replaces its ATR72 with a CRJ-100 from CemAir

Senegal Airlines  has replaced an ATR72-200, ZS-XCB (c/n 460), formerly wet-leased from Solenta Aviation, with a CRJ-100, ZS-CRJ (c/n 7338), wet-leased from South Africa's CemAir. The Regional Jet is used to service the airline's sole domestic route to Ziguinchor and regional West African routes.
