Spain's CanaryFly leasing a Portuguese ATR42



CanaryFly (PM, Las Palmas) has wet-leased an ATR42-320 from Portuguese operator Lease Fly (LZF, Cascais) while the Canary Islands carrier awaits the delivery of its maiden ATR72-500 OY-YAN (cn 570) which is currently being prepared at Toulouse Francazal.


CS-DVL (cn 333) was positioned from Limoges to Las Palmas last week where it has now joined another ATR42-300 and four ATR72-200s on scheduled flights from CanaryFly's Las Palmas base to Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, and Tenerife Norte and from Tenerife Norte to Santa Cruz de La Palma.


International operations to Dakhla and Laayoune in Morocco appear to have been suspended for the time being.

Sunrise Airways to wet-lease first ATR42-300 from DAT

Sunrise Airways (S6, Port au Prince) will wet-lease its first ATR42-300 from DAT - Danish Air Transport (DX, Kolding) with the aircraft scheduled to be delivered to Haiti before the end of the month.
In a transaction arranged by Skyworld Aviation, an ex-Pascan Aviation (P6, Québec) ATR42-300(QC) (msn 112) has been added to DAT's fleet as OY-CIU and placed on a long-term contract with Sunrise Airways until the end of 2017. It is DAT's only current wet-lease contract in the Caribbean.
As reported by ch-aviation earlier, Sunrise plans to add new routes from Port au Prince to destinations such as Havana Int'l, Kingston Norman Manley, Nassau Int'l and Providenciales.

Chalair upgrades Le Havre-Lyon to ATR 42-300


Chalair Aviation  has wet-leased an ATR 42-300, likely from its partner Airlinair, to upgrade the capacity on its domestic route between Le Havre Octeville (LEH) and Lyon St. Exupéry (LYS).
It currently operates up to two daily services on the route that it had previously served with its own Beech 1900Ds.
