China Southern Airlines (CZ) said that its last two Boeing 777-200ERs, registration B-2056 and B-2058, took off from Guangzhou to Phoenix, U.S. with a stopover in Hawaii on Dec. 25.
Since 17 years ago when the first B777-200ER was delivered to China Southern, the 777-200ER fleet has flown safely for more than 360 thousand hours, with over 80 thousand takeoffs and landings.
What's more, two others of the last four B777-200ERs, registration B-2055 and B-2057, have already flown to U.S. on Dec. 18.
Up to now, China Southern has retired all its six B777-200ERs
