BOC Aviation Announces New Orders for Four Boeing 787-9 Aircraft



BOC Aviation Limited (“BOC Aviation” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has ordered four new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. This is the Company’s first order for Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

All four aircraft have been placed on long-term leases with Air Europa, and are scheduled to be delivered to the airline in 2019. The aircraft will be powered by the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 Engine.

“We are pleased to begin a partnership with Air Europa, a new European customer, and to support its fleet growth and expansion plans,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “We are delighted to add the Rolls-Royce powered Boeing 787-9 aircraft to our portfolio. This order is the Company’s first for a Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine, demonstrating our confidence in these fuel-efficient engines that deliver impressive performance.”

BOC Aviation Takes Delivery Of 200th Boeing Airplane



BOC Aviation Limited (“BOC Aviation” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the delivery of its 200th Boeing airplane. The Next Generation 737-800 aircraft was delivered to Lion Air Group and will be operated by its Malaysian affiliate, Malindo Air, based in Kuala Lumpur.

The aircraft will be operated by Malindo to support its network expansion plans in the region including services to Australia.

“BOC Aviation had a very successful 2016 and marks another milestone in 2017 with our 200th aircraft delivery from Boeing,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “This is testimony to the long-standing relationship that we have enjoyed with The Boeing Company.”

BOC Aviation has taken delivery of approximately half of the 200 airplanes directly from Boeing, comprising the 737 and 777 aircraft families, while the other half has been a combination of purchase and lease backs from our airline customers.




BOC Aviation’s cumulative orders for new Boeing aircraft now total 297 aircraft from the Boeing Next-Generation 737, 737 MAX, and 777 aircraft families.

BOC Aviation Takes Delivery Of 250th Aircraft From Airbus

BOC Aviation Limited (“BOC Aviation” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the delivery of its 250th aircraft from Airbus. The aircraft is an A330-300 delivered to Air China, the fifth of the five widebody aircraft leased to the Chinese airline under a purchase-and-leaseback arrangement first announced on 3 October 2016.

“This milestone is testimony to the long-standing relationships upon which we have built our success,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “We recently marked our 23rd anniversary in business, and we are proud to celebrate a strong relationship with Airbus, which has been a significant partner throughout our history.”

“Such long-standing ties are the basis for both parties to provide the strong support expected by airline customers,” Mr. Martin added. “We are pleased that our 250th Airbus aircraft was delivered to Air China as we marked this milestone.”

“With repeat orders totalling some 316 aircraft, BOC Aviation is our 10th largest Airbus customer and now one of the world’s biggest lessors,” said John Leahy, Chief Operating Officer - Customers. “When lessors finance almost 50 percent of Airbus deliveries, the importance of strong partnerships with customers like BOC Aviation cannot be underestimated. We salute BOC Aviation on its landmark 250th delivery.”

BOC Aviation is one of Airbus’ top 10 customers globally. BOC Aviation’s cumulative orders to date for new Airbus aircraft have reached a total of 316 aircraft, comprising 304 aircraft from the A320 family and 12 A330 aircraft. BOC Aviation was Airbus’ largest lessor customer for 2016 as measured in aircraft deliveries. In addition, BOC Aviation has committed to its first A350 acquisition with the purchase-and lease-back agreement of six aircraft signed with Qatar Airways scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2017.

In total, BOC Aviation took delivery of 67 aircraft in 2016, including 11 that were acquired by airline customers upon delivery.

BOC Aviation and Air China Enter Into Purchase-And-Leaseback Arrangement For Five New Aircraft



BOC Aviation Limited (“BOC Aviation” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a purchase-and-leaseback arrangement with Air China for five aircraft, comprising three Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and two Airbus A330-300 aircraft, all scheduled for delivery new from the manufacturer in the fourth quarter of 2016.
“We are pleased to support Air China in its fleet growth and expansion plans in this transaction, which adds popular, in-demand aircraft on long-term leases to our portfolio,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “This transaction also represents incremental capital expenditure in 2016, and we continue to focus on disciplined investing to grow our fleet in line with our current strategy.”

BOC Aviation Delivers First of Three New Airbus A321 Aircraft to Interjet



BOC Aviation Limited (“BOC Aviation” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the delivery of the first of three Airbus A321CEO aircraft to Interjet of Mexico. The remaining two aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2016. All three aircraft are from the Company’s existing order book.

Boeing, BOC Aviation Announce Order for 82 Airplanes

Order includes 50 737 MAX 8s, 30 Next-Generation 737-800s, two 777-300ERs

SINGAPORE, Aug. 25, 2014 – Boeing (NYSE: BA) announced today an order by BOC Aviation for 50 737 MAX 8s, 30 Next-Generation 737-800s and two 777-300ERs (Extended Range). The order, valued at $8.8 billion at list prices, is the largest in BOC Aviation’s 20-year history and part of the Singapore-based leasing company’s effort to grow its portfolio of fuel-efficient airplanes. BOC AVIATION ADDS AEROMEXICO AS NEW CUSTOMER WITH THREE E190 AIRCRAFT

BOC Aviation Pte. Ltd. (“BOC Aviation”) is pleased to announce Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) as a new customer with the lease of three new Embraer E190 aircraft for delivery between April and June this year.

“We are delighted to work with Aeromexico in expanding its network with the E190, and look forward to developing our business with Aeromexico further in the future,” said Steven Townend, Chief Commercial Officer for Europe, Americas and Africa for BOC Aviation. “BOC Aviation has now placed all of its 15 firm orders of E190 aircraft, a milestone for the company.”

Aeromexico is Mexico’s leading international airline with more than 600 daily flights to more than 80 cities.

BOC AVIATION MAKES FIRST DELIVERY TO KLM SUBSIDIARY, KLM CITYHOPPER

BOC Aviation has delivered the first of six Embraer E190 aircraft to KLM subsidiary, KLM Cityhopper, under an operating lease agreement.

“We are pleased to have KLM as a new customer as BOC Aviation delivers the first aircraft to its subsidiary KLM Cityhopper in a programme to replace its existing fleet for regional flights,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “The E190 is ideal for this strategy.”

“The delivery of the aircraft makes this the 23rd E-190 for KLM Cityhopper’s replacement programme, and is a testimony to our commitment to continuously enhance our passenger comfort, our operational reliability, the efficiency for the bottom line and to limit our environmental footprint,” Boet Kreiken, Managing Director of KLM Cityhopper, said. “We are pleased with BOC Aviation's support for an important phase of KLM Cityhopper's fleet development."



The remaining five E190 aircraft from BOC Aviation will be delivered between December 2013 and April 2014.

BOC Aviation orders 50 A320 Family aircraft, including 25 NEO


Confirms strong market demand for current and new engine options 
BOC Aviation, the Singapore-based aircraft leasing subsidiary of Bank of China, has placed a new firm order, signed in December 2012, for the purchase of 50 A320 Family aircraft including 25 NEOs. The order comprises A320 and A321 variants of both engine options. BOC Aviation will make its engine selection for the aircraft at a later date.

BOC Aviation last placed an order for A320ceo Family aircraft in 2010. This order for A320neo Family aircraft will be its first for the new engine option. As an investor in aircraft, the Company seeks fuel-efficient aircraft that have a wide operator base and this order will further contribute to its growth.

Including this latest purchase agreement, BOC Aviation’s cumulative orders for new Airbus aircraft reach a total of 187 (181 A320 Family and six A330 Family aircraft), of which 131 have already been placed with airlines. BOC Aviation has also been growing its Airbus fleet through purchase and leaseback transactions with airlines. To date, BOC Aviation has successfully placed Airbus aircraft with over 40 airlines worldwide. BOC Aviation is the largest Asia-based aircraft leasing company and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The A320neo will enter into service from late 2015, followed by the A319neo and A321neo in 2016. The A320neo Family incorporates latest generation engines and large Sharklet wing-tip devices, which together will deliver up to 15 percent in fuel savings which is equivalent to 1.4 million litres of fuel - the consumption of 1,000 mid size cars, saving 3,600 tons of C02 per aircraft per year. With more than 1,600 firm orders since its launch in December 2010, the A320neo Family is the fastest selling commercial aircraft programme ever.

The A320 Family is the world’s best-selling and most modern single aisle aircraft Family. To date, close to 8,900 aircraft have been ordered and over 5,300 delivered to more than 380 customers and operators worldwide.
