VietJetAir to expand into north Asian, Australian markets

VietJetAir is to expand its network into the medium and long-haul sectors with north Asia and Australia among its planned markets. Confirming the move in a statement to ch-aviation, the Vietnamese LCC did however say that no specific aircraft had yet been chosen.

Recent aviation media reports had speculated about a possible A330 order given the airline's reliance on Airbus Industrie for A320s and A321s for current short-haul operations
