Thailand's Jet Asia Airways plans regional Asian expansion

Jet Asia Airways is planning to venture into the regional scheduled passenger market with news it intends to acquire an additional six aircraft by year-end.

the airline intends  the launch of scheduled flights from its Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to China, Japan, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
Applications for traffic rights to those countries are currently pending he said. Jet Asia currently already operates charter services to both China and Japan in cooperation with tour operators.

the carrier's network currently extends from Thailand to Nanjing, Tianjin, Tokyo Narita, Beijing Capital, Changsha Datuopu, Chongqing, Harbin, and Shenyang.
