Sukhoi Business Jet delivered to Comlux KZ
Russian Aviation Insider
The aircraft was originally built in the SSJ100LR passenger version (SuperJet International)
Comlux KZ, the Kazakh subsidiary of Swiss corporate charter airline Comlux, has taken delivery of a Russian-built Sukhoi Business Jet (SBJ). Prior to shipment to the customer the airliner’s cabin was refitted with a bespoke interior and the SBJ underwent full certification to EASA standards. The aircraft will be operated in the interest of copper mining specialist Kazakhmys Corporation.
The SBJ interior was fitted at Comlux’s completion and servicing center in Indianapolis, U.S. According to earlier reports, the aircraft was expected to be equipped with extra fuel tanks at the center.
This particular airliner seats 19 passengers in two zones: the VIP area at the front offers four seats and an elongated sofa, while the aft area is equipped with five three-abreast rows of seats.

The SBJ corporate version is already in use by several other non-Russian operators, including the Thai Air Force and the Border Guard Service of Kazakhstan.

Viva Nepal granted an ASL, eyes B737s, ATR72s
Viva Nepal Airways (Kathmandu) has been granted an Air Services Licence (ASL), valid for one year, from the Nepali government ahead of plans to begin operations later this year.
Quoting government officials, the Kathmandu Post reports the start-up has been allocated route authorities to connect Kathmandu with each of Delhi Int'l, Doha Hamad Int'l, Dubai Int'l, Kuala Lumpur Int'l, and Dhaka. It plans to bring in four B737-800s and two ATR72-500s to service the routes. Of the six aircraft, four B737s and two ATRs will be acquired outright with the remaining two Avions de Transport Régional turboprops leased.
The ASL in hand, Viva Nepal now needs to secure a No Objection Certificate (NOC) as well as an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the country's aviation regulator.
Under its previous incarnation as Dynamic Airlines (Kathmandu), the carrier was granted an international licence in March 2010. However, it was revoked after Dynamic failed to bring in its aircraft within six months of acquiring it.

Air Carnival ceases operations during sale talks
Air Carnival (2S, Coimbatore) has ceased operations as its owners attempt to sell off the low-cost carrier, reports The Hindu Business Online. Analysis of Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows that Air Carnival's sole aircraft – ATR72-500 VT-CMA (msn 0767) – has not operated since April 5. The aircraft is leased from Elix Aviation Capital, which is apparently now trying to regain possession of it.
Promoter Coimbatore Marine College (CMC) said earlier this month that it wanted to sell its 100% stake in Carnival for about INR730 million (USD11.2 million), claiming it was in advanced talks with a suitable investor. There has not yet been any confirmation if that sale has proceeded.
According to Hindu Business Online, Air Carnival's 130 staff have not been paid regularly since its inception less than a year ago, with INR22 million (USD340,000) in salaries outstanding.
Until recently, Air Carnival conducted routes from Chennai to Coimbatore, Tiruchirapally and Tuticorin.
