ORDERS - Türkiye's MNG Airlines signs MoU for 2 A350Fs



MNG Airlines (MB, Istanbul Airport) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airbus for the potential purchase of two A350Fs. The agreement was signed on June 18 during the 2025 Paris Air Show.

The freighters "will support both our scheduled and charter operations and give us added flexibility to meet evolving cargo demands, from e-commerce to high-value freight and express logistics,” said Murathan Doruk Günal, the chairman of MNG Airlines.

According to the ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data module, MNG Airlines operates one A300-600F, one inactive A300-600R(F) (with two more wet-leased from affiliate carrier Solinair), two A321-200(P2F)s, two A330-200Fs, and four A330-300(P2F)s.

 

ORDERS - EGYPTAIR discloses order for an additional 6 Airbus A350 aircraft

Paris, France, 18 June 2025 – EGYPTAIR has disclosed a firm order for an additional six A350-900s as part of its expansion strategy to meet growing demand for air travel. The agreement takes the airline’s total order for the type to 16 A350-900.

“We are continuously working to modernise our fleet and deliver a more comfortable and optimised travel experience. This collaboration with Airbus builds on a long-standing relationship that spans decades, marked by multiple successful deals and strategic partnerships in the aviation sector. Today’s announcement reflects our commitment to integrating the next-generation aircraft into our fleet. It will enable us to meet rising demand for long-haul travel, support our network expansion plans over the next five years, and contribute to Egypt’s broader efforts to promote more sustainable air transport.” said EGYPTAIR Chairman and CEO Captain Ahmed Adel.

The A350 is the world’s most modern and efficient widebody aircraft and has set new standards for intercontinental travel. It offers the longest range capability of any commercial airliner in production today. Powered by the latest generation of Rolls-Royce engines, the aircraft is designed to fly up to 9,700 nautical miles / 18,000 kilometres non-stop, using 25% less fuel than previous generation types and with a similar reduction in carbon emissions.

The A350-900s are equipped with a comfortable and spacious Airspace cabin, wide seats, high ceilings and alluring ambient lighting.

As with all Airbus aircraft, the A350 aircraft is already able to operate with up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Airbus is targeting to have its aircraft up to 100% SAF capable by 2030.

At the end of May 2025, the A350 had won over 1,390 orders from 60 customers worldwide.

 

AIRCRAFT - De Havilland Canada Expands Partnership with Advantage Air with Purchase of Two Package Freighter Conversion Kits


Paris, France (June 18, 2025) – De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (De Havilland Canada) is pleased to announce the purchase of two Package Freighter Conversion Kits by Advantage Air Travel Limited, further strengthening the operator’s Dash 8-400 freighter program. FLEET - Amelia Signs Extensive Services Agreement with Embraer after joining E-Jets family

French airline inducting first E-Jets into fleet

· Amelia signs Pool program to support the transition to E-Jets

Paris, June 18, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; B3: EMBR3) and Amelia, an airline operated by the France based Regourd Aviation Group, has signed an extensive services agreement, including the Pool Program for the E-Jets family and support for the ERJ and E-Jets aircraft in the airline’s fleet. Recently, Amelia announced it is joining the E-Jets family, with two E190 jets leased from CDB Aviation.

In partnership with CDB Aviation and Embraer, the French airline aims to develop the 100-seater market and fill the 100-seat gap in its fleet, with the E-Jets perfectly sizing between the 50-seaters ERJs and larger narrowbodies. Besides the two E-190 jets, the ERJ fleet currently in service by Amelia continues in operation and supported by the Embraer Pool, as it has been since 2010.

These applications allow Embraer customers to perform real-time takeoff and landing calculations from the flight deck, as well as customized weight and balance analysis for each flight, automatically generating load sheets, as well as feeding flight planning systems with the performance in all flight phases, from climb to descent, allowing the operator to perform route optimizations to save both fuel and time.

FLEET - Embraer and Hunnu Air sign Components Pool Program Agreement

Paris, June 18, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; B3: EMBR3) has signed a multi-year contract with Hunnu Air for the Pool Program. With this agreement, the Mongolian airline will receive support for a wide range of repairable components for its two E195-E2s joining its fleet. Currently, Pool Program supports more than 60 airlines worldwide.

ORDERS - Air Montenegro add third ERJ195 jet to its fleet and sign Components Pool Program Agreement with Embraer

ORDER - Airlink selects the Embraer E195-E2; plans to lease from Azorra

Paris Air Show, Le Bourget, France – June 18, 2025: Airlink, Southern Africa’s leading full-service airline, plans to lease 10 new Embraer E195-E2 twin-engine passenger aircraft from Azorra, the Fort Lauderdale-based lease, finance and asset management firm.

Under the scope of an agreement to be finalised soon, Airlink will augment its current 68-strong fleet with the new E2 aircraft, with deliveries from Embraer’s facilities in Brazil expected later this year through to 2027. Airlink has operated Embraer aircraft since 2001.

The new 136 and 124-seat aircraft are expected to achieve fuel savings of up to 29 percent compared to the earlier-generation E195s Airlink currently operates. This will enhance Airlink’s economic efficiencies and reduce emissions across its schedule and network which covers 45 destinations in 15 countries, including St Helena Island in the South Atlantic and Madagascar.

The addition of the Pratt & Whitney GTF-powered E2s, which have on average 33% more seats than Airlink’s current E190s will enable the airline to achieve lower unit costs on high-demand routes. With their additional range, they will also let Airlink expand its network, providing its efficient, reliable and comfortable service to new sub-Sahara Africa destinations.

Airlink will derive additional savings from the high degree of operating, maintenance, training and equipment commonality between its existing E-Jets and the new E2s, including similar flightdecks, operating procedures and handling. This will also ensure a streamlined entry into service.

ORDER - JSX to Begin ATR Operations in the U.S.

The Texas-based, award-winning public charter air carrier will lease two ATR 42-600s to expand its hop-on service, reaching more private terminals, Fixed Base Operators, and underserved airports across the United States. ORDER - Regional One Expands E-Freighter Partnership with Embraer

Le Bourget, Paris, June 18, 2025 –Embraer (NYSE: ERJ / B3: EMBR3) has expanded its partnership with Regional One, Inc. with the addition of two passenger-to-freight (P2F) conversions, doubling its existing order of two. This continued collaboration highlights Regional One’s strong commitment to enhancing its cargo capabilities through Embraer’s innovative P2F conversion program.

Regional One initially ordered two E-Freighter conversions from Embraer in 2022. It was also announced today that Bridges Air Cargo will be the launch operator of the E-Freighter, Regional One’s inaugural client on the E190F. The first of two jets is expected to start operating in Bridges’ fleet in Q3/2025.

ORDER - Bridges Air Cargo to be First Operator of Embraer’s E-Freighter

ORDER - STARLUX orders 10 more Airbus A350-1000s

Paris, France, 18 June 2025 – STARLUX Airlines of Taiwan has signed a firm order with Airbus for the purchase of ten additional A350-1000 aircraft. The agreement was signed at the Paris Airshow by STARLUX Airlines CEO Glenn Chai and Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus EVP Sales of the Commercial Aircraft business.

STARLUX Airlines already operates an all-Airbus fleet of 28 aircraft including the A350-900, the A330neo and the A321neo. The Taiwanese airline has on order 30 aircraft including the A350F freighters and A350-1000.

“Expanding our international fleet with additional A350-1000s is a significant step toward reinforcing our global presence and enhancing connectivity across key markets,” said Glenn Chai. “This aircraft offers efficiency, range and comfort, making it the perfect fit for our strategy to optimise long-haul operations while delivering an exceptional passenger experience. ORDER - Ethiopian Airlines Orders Two Twin Otter 300-G Aircraft from De Havilland Canada

Paris, France, June 17, 2025 – De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (“De Havilland Canada”) is pleased to announce that Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest and most successful airline, has signed a purchase agreement for two new Twin Otter Classic 300-G aircraft. This acquisition marks the introduction of the 300-G into Ethiopian Airlines’ fleet and underscores the carrier’s commitment to connecting communities across diverse and remote regions of Ethiopia and East Africa.

The Twin Otter Classic 300-G, the latest evolution of the renowned Twin Otter family, delivers outstanding short takeoff and landing (STOL) performance, rugged reliability, and modern avionics—all features that make it ideal for regional operations, especially in areas with challenging terrain and limited infrastructure.

ORDER - SkyWest Places Firm Order For 60 Embraer Aircraft


Le Bourget, Paris, 18 June 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; B3: EMBR3) has received a firm order from SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW) for 60 aircraft with purchase rights on 50 additional aircraft. Deliveries of the aircraft will begin in 2027. The list price value of the firm order contract for 60 aircraft, which will be included in Embraer’s Q2 backlog, is US$3.6billion.

With a fleet of 263 aircraft, and an existing backlog of 16 aircraft, SkyWest Airlines is the largest E-Jet owner and operator in the world. This order further advances their position.

Embraer and SkyWest have been working closely together for nearly 40 years, beginning in 1986 when the airline acquired five EMB-120 Brasilia aircraft. By the end of 1997, SkyWest was celebrating its 25th anniversary and operating more than 40 EMB-120 aircraft. In 2013, the partnership was renewed with the purchase of 100 E175s. Today, SkyWest is the largest operator of the E175, with 263 aircraft.
