Special Missions Cessna Skycourier To Appear At Farnborough International Airshow


Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, will return to the Farnborough International Airshow with a Cessna SkyCourier on static display, giving global customers and media an up‑close look at the aircraft’s expanding role in special missions, military and government operations.

More than 1,700 Cessna and Beechcraft turbine aircraft manufactured by Textron Aviation operate across Europe today, including more than 850 Cessna Citation business jets, 450 Beechcraft King Air turboprops and 175 Cessna Caravan turboprops.

The twin‑engine, high‑wing Cessna SkyCourier turboprop is designed for flexible missions, low operating costs and operations from rough or remote airfields. The aircraft offers flexible cabin layouts, strong payload and proven performance from rough or remote airfields.
Optional special mission capabilities include:
· Two underwing stations per side (up to 625 pounds inboard and 465 pounds outboard) for mission equipment, external fuel or cargo
· Extended‑fuel system adding 79 gallons of overwing fuel to increase endurance by approximately 50 minutes

GREECE’S NATIONAL CENTER FOR EMERGENCY CARE RECEIVES NEW BEECHCRAFT KING AIR 360C

WICHITA, Kan. (May 5, 2025) — Textron Aviation today announced the delivery of a Beechcraft King Air 360C aircraft to Greece’s Ministry of Health and the National Center for Emergency Care (EKAV), as part of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Global Health Initiative (GHI).  The versatile turboprop, equipped with a cargo door and an air-medical system, will further ensure that patients receive urgent air transport from remote areas to central locations in Greece and Europe.

The Beechcraft King Air 360C is designed and manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company.

“The King Air 360C will significantly boost EKAV’s capabilities in providing emergency medical care, ensuring that patients receive immediate and reliable air transport from remote areas to central locations in Greece and Europe,” said Bob Gibbs, vice president, Special Mission Sales. “The aircraft is equipped with the latest medical equipment and is ready to serve in diverse and remote locations.”

This delivery is part of the SNF’s GHI, which has funded five aircraft for EKAV, including two Beechcraft King Air 350C airplanes and this new King Air 360C aimed at strengthening Greece’s air ambulance services. All three aircraft are operated out of Elefsis Airbase in Greece.

The air ambulance conversion was completed by Fargo Jet Center at its special mission aircraft modification center located at Hector International Airport in Fargo, North Dakota.
