Brussels Airlines currently operates a fleet of nine Airbus A330-300 aircraft, having retired its four Airbus A330-200s in March 2020. The aircraft range in age from 13.8 to 18.8, with an average age of 16 years.

FLEET - The first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of Austrian Airlines arrives in Vienna ( OE-LPM (msn 62736))

Austrian Airlines now has two of its 11 planned Boeing 787-9s.

They are operating to Frankfurt (for crew training), New York JFK, and Chicago O'Hare this summer.

Vienna-Frankfurt: daily until June 27, then twice-weekly until August 28.

Vienna-New York JFK: replacing the 777-200ER, it runs six weekly until October 25, with the 767-300ER taking over from October 27.

Vienna-Chicago O'Hare: replacing the 777-200ER, it will operate six weekly from June 28 until October 26, with the 777-200ER taking over from October 27.

The carrier's second 787 entered service on June 21.

The Dreamliner accommodates 294 passengers across three classes: 26 in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy, and 247 in Economy Class.

KLM in last week's schedule update filed additional routes to be operated by the new Airbus A321neo aircraft. Planned service entry on 16SEP24 remains unchanged as of 16JUN24. Latest update includes the following.

Amsterdam – Berlin eff 16SEP24 KL1777/1778
Amsterdam – Copenhagen eff 16SEP24 KL1267/1268 (A321neo inaugural)
Amsterdam – Paris Charles de Gaulle eff 07OCT24 KL1401/1402 (Day x7), KL1411/1412 (Day x67)
Amsterdam – Prague eff 07OCT24 KL1355/1356
Amsterdam – Stockholm Arlanda eff 16SEP24 KL1225/1226

The A321neo service to Berlin, Copenhagen and Stockholm Arlanda will not be available between 01OCT24 and 03OCT24.
Aeroroutes

ROUTES - American Jet (Argentina) is in talks with Uruguay, Argentina and Bolivia to begin operating commercial flights to Montevideo, Salto, Rivera, Cordoba, Santa Fe, Salta and Santa Cruz.

FLEET - Starlux Airlines (Taiwan) anticipates a surge in aircraft deliveries by 2026 that will effectively double the size of its fleet to 48 aircraft

In 2025, one A350-900, three A350-1000s, and three A330neo will arrive, followed by six A321neos, three A330neos, and five A350-1000 in 2026. The first if five A350F being arriving in 2027.

 

FLEET - Aerolineas Argentinas swaps 14 B737-800s to the MAX, of which two have been delivered under financial leasing conditions

Nine are now expected between 2027 and 2028 due to delays. The carrier aims to close 2024 with a total of 13 B737 MAX, due to lease agreements outside of the order.
