Dynamic Airways to start Guyana - New York JFK flights
Dynamic Airways will launch 4x weekly flights connecting New York JFK with Georgetown Cheddi Jagan, Guyana beginning June 26. Operations are on-board a B767-200(ER).

On 19 June the airline began twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) services on the 6,640-kilometre route from Ulaanbator (ULN) using the airline’s 767-300s. The new service will operate until mid-September and faces no direct competition. The airline’s other destinations in Europe are Berlin Tegel and Moscow Sheremetyevo, while Beijing, Hong Kong, Osaka Kansai, Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita complete the airline’s international network.

WestJet Encore celebrates first anniversary
CALGARY, June 24, 2014 /CNW/ - WestJet Encore celebrates its first birthday today, just days before eastern operations launch with flights between Thunder Bay, Ontario, and Toronto.

In the twelve months since WestJet Encore took to the skies, it has added 12 destinations to the original six, which included Calgary, Alberta, Fort St. John, Nanaimo, Vancouver, and Victoria, British Columbia and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The fleet of Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft will have grown from two to 13 by the end of June.
On Friday, June 27, WestJet Encore will officially launch east-bound service with four daily, non-stop flights between Thunder Bay and Toronto.

First delivery aircraft of ARJ21 completes first flight
It is reported that AC105 rolled out on December 30th, 2013, and was officially transferred to FTCC on June 10th, 2014. This aircraft has successively completed multiple tests, such as Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) de-preserving and start-up test, environmental control test, tightness test, onboard functional test of electrical power system, etc., and is installed with seat interiors and coherent systems in accordance with the delivery standard of the first aircraft.

Russia's Rusline eyes B737-400s
Rusline is planning to add its first Boeing metal to its fleet of six CRJ-100s, nineteen CRJ-200s, and two EMB-120s. According to the Airfinance Journal, the Russian regional carrier is looking to add eight B737-400s.

Sunwing Airlines has secured permission from the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) to wet-lease a B757-200, N567CA (msn 24608), from US operator National Airlines for use on non-scheduled flights between Toronto Pearson and Panamá City Tocumen Int'l over the period June 18 to July 17, 2014.

Royal Air Maroc eyes B737s, MD-83 for summer leases
Royal Air Maroc is set to bolster its mainstream fleet with a variety of foreign metal ch-aviation has exclusively learned. With the prospect of a busy summer season ahead, Air Explore CEO Martin Stulajter has confirmed the Moroccan national carrier will wet-lease a B737-400, OM-EEX (msn 26302), from the Slovakian ACMI specialist with effect from July 26 until mid-September. ECAIR to get first B787-8 in 4Q 2015
ECAIR - Equatorial Congo Airlines will add a first B787-8 to its fleet during the final quarter of 2015, Kevin Gotene, the head of network planning and scheduling at the Congolese carrier, has said. Gotene told Routes Online in a recent interview that the aircraft will be sourced from its Swiss partner, PrivatAir, which has two B787-8s on order from Boeing.

A350 XWB test fleet now complete: ‘MSN005’ – the fifth and final flight-test aircraft takes to the skies
With the first flight today of A350 MSN005, the five-strong development fleet is now complete. Being the second passenger cabin-equipped A350 and tasked with route proving and ETOPS validation, MSN005 embodies the operationally definitive configuration for Type Certification duties. This milestone means that the A350 XWB development programme is at full speed and on track for certification in the third quarter of this year, to be followed thereafter by delivery of the first customer aircraft to Qatar Airways in the fourth quarter.
As of today, the A350 XWB programme has already achieved more than 2,000 flight-test hours in around 500 flights, and with this the programme is demonstrating the highest flying rate ever achieved in Airbus flight tests, with around 80 flight hours per aircraft per month.
