Atlas Air acquires three B777-200LRF freighters

Atlas Air has signed an agreement with New York-based asset management firm, Guggenheim Aviation Partners, LLC for the acquisition of three B777-200LRF freighters. The aircraft are all equipped with GE90-110B1L motors. While no mention has been made of what their serial numbers are, all three twinjets are currently on long-term lease to an undisclosed European express carrier. In total, Atlas Air says it has a total of six B777-200LRF aircraft on long-term lease to customers in its Dry Leasing business
