Sudan Airways commenced operation on the 7 July from Khartoum to Abu Dhabi

Flights on the 2,503-kilometre sector will operate thrice-weekly using a mixture of the carrier’s Airbus fleet. The service will face direct competition from Etihad Airways, which operates a daily flight on the city pair.
