FLEET - Libyan Airlines prepares to double its active fleet after the repaired Airbus A320 returns to the skies.

 Libyan Airlines is preparing to return one of its Airbus A320-200s to commercial service after eight months of grounding for repairs.

During the eight-month repair period, the airline was forced to suspend or significantly reduce regular services.

With two operational aircraft, the airline has greater flexibility to reinstate important domestic routes linking Tripoli, Benghazi, Sebha, and Misrata, as well as selected international services that it has historically operated to destinations such as Tunis, Istanbul, Amman, and Cairo.
