A380 da China Southern voará em rotas domésticas / China Southern to operate A380 on domestic routes
A China Southern vai-se tornar a primeira companhia aérea do mundo a introduzir o A380 em rotas domésticas. A companhia deve receber seu primeiro Airbus A380 em setembro, seguido de um segundo em novembro. Ambos os aviões serão empregados nas rotas Beijing-Guangzhou e Beijing-Shanghai Hongqiao. De acordo com uma fonte da empresa, ambas as rotas são de alta densidade, justificando o emprego do A380 nas mesmas. Além destas rotas, a China Southern também planeia introduzir o novo Super Jumbo da Airbus na rota Guangzhou-Paris.

Boeing and ANA Conclude 787 Service Ready Operational Validation
"Giving our team a chance to work with the airplane prior to entry into service was very valuable," said Katsunori Shimazaki, ANA corporate planning senior manager and the airline's leader of the validation. "Our crews are excited to begin operating the first 787 revenue flights later this year."
Teams from ANA and Boeing validated more than a hundred procedures, including towing the airplane, conducting fit checks of ground support equipment, staging electronic flight bag data and completing maintenance actions, among other activities.
"The successful conclusion of this effort further validates our plans for entering the first all-new airplane of the 21st century into service with our launch customer ANA," said Mike Fleming, 787 services and support vice president. "Our teams worked well together and the airplane performed as we expected."
At each airport, hundreds of enthusiasts and reporters gathered to witness the 787's arrival from Tokyo. Combined, several thousand people celebrated the Dreamliner's presence in Japan.
"It has been incredible to see the enthusiasm for the 787 every place we've gone," said Scott Fancher, vice president and general manager of the 787 program. "With its improvements in comfort and environmental performance, passengers are clearly eager to experience the 787 for themselves."
ANA's first scheduled service with the 787 will be either the Tokyo Haneda-Okayama or Tokyo Haneda-Hiroshima route when deliveries begin later this year.
ANA has 55 Dreamliners on order. ANA will deploy the 787 across its route network as an integral part of its strategy to strengthen its position and support its growth and expansion plans.

TAAG’s second 777-300ER (extended range) carries nearly five tons of professional and technical books to Angolan university
Crews on Friday loaded approximately 3,000 professional and technical books from Boeing’s technical library in California into TAAG Linhas Aereas de Angola’s (Angola Airlines) second 777-300ER (extended range) to be delivered to Agostinho Neto University in Luanda, Angola.
Boeing partnered with Angola flag carrier TAAG to transport the 7,400 pounds (3,357 kilograms) of books to Agostinho Neto University’s Department of Cooperation and International e Juridico / Engerey (Legal and Energy).

Boeing and ANA Begin 787 Service Readiness Validation in Japan

SuperJet International signs an order with Blue Panorama Airlines worth USD 370 million
SuperJet International – a joint venture between Alenia Aeronautica (a Finmeccanica Company) and Sukhoi Holding – signed an order today with the Italian Blue Panorama Airlines for the purchase of 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft. Based on the list price, the agreement has an estimated value of USD 370 million.
The deliveries of these SSJ100/95B aircraft will start at the end of 2012. The aircraft interiors will be provided by the Italian design group Pininfarina.
The Blue Panorama SSJ100 fleet will be also supported by SuperJet International with tailored after-sales solutions beginning with the first delivery.
The first Sukhoi Superjet 100 entered into revenue services with Armavia on April 21, 2011. The aircraft was put into operation in an extremely short period of time, two days after the official delivery to the launch customer on April, 19 2011. On June 16, 2011 the SSJ100 entered into commercial operation with the Russian airline Aeroflot from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
During the first two months of operation the SSJ100 totalized 119 flights and more than 268 hours. Owing to its economic efficiency and operational capabilities, the aircraft confirmed to be suitable both to regional and to short-haul routes.
