Singapore Airlines to deploy A380 to Mumbai, New Delhi from May

Singapore Airlines is to become the first carrier to operate the A380-800 into India following the Indian government's lifting of a ban on the use of type in January this year.

Effective May 30, Singapore Airlines will deploy the A380 on flights to Mumbai Int'l and Delhi Int'l taking over from two daily flights that currently serve each city using smaller B777-200s.
Another daily flight will continue to operate using the B777.
