Kenya Airways has taken delivery of its second Boeing 787 Dreamliner on June 21, 2014.
Kenya Airways will fly its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner to China's capital city Beijing on Sep. 18, marking the 4th Dreamliner destination, the Afircan airline revealed Monday on its official Facebook page.
Kenya Airways recently inked an agreement with Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to add more flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The national carrier hopes to strengthen its presence in China by offering better connection options to its passengers from Africa.
In early August, Kenya Airways took delivery of its third 787 Dreamliner, to boost its long-haul operation. The first two Dreamliners received previously have already been deployed to Nairobi to Paris and Johannesburg routes respectively. The delivery of the Dreamliners highlighted the airline's commitment to consistently improving the quality of its service to world class standards.
Kenya Airways has 9 787 Dreamliners on firm order. The African carrier is scheduled to receive three more Boeing 787 Dreamliners by the end of the year, with the remaining three to be delivered from 2015.
